EPHRAIM — Ephraim pays tribute to its Norwegian heritage with one of the biggest festivals of the early summer season in Door County.<\/p>\n

The event runs from Friday, June 17, 2016 through Sunday, June 19, 2016.<\/p>\n

The annual Fyr Bal Festival (pronounced feer ball) re-creates traditions of early Norwegians celebrating Midsummer\u2019s Eve, according to the Ephraim website HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Artists, food, musical entertainment and family activities along the picturesque shoreline of Eagle Harbor welcome the arrival of summer.<\/p>\n

Hop on the trolley or stroll through the village and visit the many historic landmarks, shops, galleries and restaurants for which Ephraim is well-known.<\/p>\n

A signature Fyr Bal event, evening bonfires represent the burning of the \u2018Winter Witch\u2019 and usher in the long days of summer. Fireworks complete a perfect day. Stay and enjoy the hospitality of our many lodging accommodations.<\/p>\n

A warm Scandinavian welcome awaits you in Ephraim any time of the year, but especially so during Fyr Bal Festival.<\/p>\n
