In a news release, Nelson said that the tour represents how he’s won campaigns in the past — by meeting with anybody and everybody.

“I come from the Fox Valley, a tough place for Democrats to win, but I’ve won six times. So look for us, coming soon to a restaurant, to a gas station, a community center near you,” Nelson said.

Nelson says that if elected, he will:

  • Enact Medicare for All
  • Tackle systemic racism that makes Wisconsin one of the worst states for racial inequality
  • Tax the billionaires and corporations getting away with paying nothing
  • Put an end to the unfair trade deals that have hurt our communities from Milwaukee to Merrill
  • Empower unions and workers and bring manufacturing back to Wisconsin
  • Pass a Green New Deal
  • End the filibuster
  • Put Wisconsin over Wall Street
